Daglar has been an entrepreneur since graduating from Wharton School in 1997. His first business was involved in Nasdaq equity trading during the height of the dot.com boom and achieved nearly $5bn volume per month. He sold the business in New York in 2001 to E-Trade and went on to obtain a graduate degree in Logistics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Soon after, together with U.S. and Middle Eastern investors, he set up an aviation company comprising of an air-cargo business (myCargo) and an aircraft maintenance business (myTechnic) based in Istanbul, Turkey. After a decade of successful operations, he secured investments for both companies through a strategic sale to HNA Group.
Daglar has gained significant experience within financial services, as Head of Originations at Bravia Capital. In 2015, Daglar moved to London to set up an asset management platform in partnership with HNA group – Eastern Harmony Ltd which has been trading under the name of EH Global Capital since March 2017.
He remains on the boards of his aviation businesses as an Executive Vice-Chairman. He also assists different HNA Group companies in their business development efforts across the globe. Daglar also has a portfolio of personal investments in all of which he has an active business development role. He is now based in London and travels frequently to Hong Kong and New York in developing EH Global Capital’s business.
